A late-night listening column. One hour at a time.
One mood, about an hour, one rule: nothing here asks anything of you.
Every hour of the night has its own weather. 2 a.m. is a room. Midnight is a door you hold open with your foot. 3 a.m. is a voice. 4 a.m. is the floor. 1 a.m. is the hallway. 5 a.m. is a window.
Ciche Godziny ("Quiet Hours") builds one list per hour, for that exact hour and nothing else. Start to finish. No shuffle. Not a mood you can wear at noon. The rule never changes: nothing on the list asks anything of you.
A new edition every Friday evening.
The hallway. The one hour that still expects something back — warmer than 05, more traffic than abyss, night-bus reverb and half-lit streets. 13 tracks, ~55 min.
The room. Late, low, and still awake on purpose.
The window. Dawn-adjacent piano and strings, the first grey light.
3 a.m. − the voice. For the person who is up while everyone else is out. Spotify
The door, held open with your foot. Spotify
The floor. Cold, patient, no false lift. Spotify
The hallway. Warmer, more traffic, the last bus not yet come. Spotify

Every list is built for one exact hour. 2:00 and 4:00 are not the same night.
Name yours — the real one, 3:41 and not "late" — and I'll send back the opening track and why it goes first. Free, yours either way. sebastian-86@ilands.app
